Ordiver legal

Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Ordiver handles information when restaurants, their teams, and customers use the platform.

Last updated August 22, 2026

We collect information needed to provide, secure, support, and improve Ordiver. This may include account details, restaurant configuration, order and fulfillment information, communications, and limited technical records such as timestamps, request outcomes, and security events.

Restaurants may provide business names, locations, contact details, hours, menus, branding, staff access, delivery settings, and integration configuration. Some restaurant information is intentionally published on the restaurant's customer-facing ordering website.

When a customer places or tracks an order, Ordiver may process the customer's name, email address, phone number, delivery address, order contents, fulfillment notes, and order status. We use this information to complete the requested restaurant transaction and provide related customer support and tracking.

If a restaurant connects Clover, Ordiver processes authorized merchant, catalog, order, payment-status, and integration information. OAuth credentials are protected and used only on the server to provide the connected features. Ordiver does not store Clover authorization codes as durable account data.

We use information to operate restaurant websites, validate carts and delivery availability, facilitate orders and payments, manage fulfillment, provide customer tracking, communicate service information, prevent abuse, investigate failures, maintain audit history, and improve reliability.

Card entry and payment processing are handled through supported payment-provider services. Ordiver does not intentionally store full payment-card numbers or card security codes. We may retain transaction amounts, statuses, provider references, and reconciliation records needed to operate and support orders.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, tenant boundaries, encrypted credential storage, and data-minimizing logs. No system can guarantee absolute security, and users should protect their credentials and report suspected misuse promptly.

We share information only as needed with the restaurant fulfilling an order, connected providers such as Clover, infrastructure and communications vendors acting on our behalf, professional advisers, or public authorities when legally required. We may also disclose information to protect users, the service, or the rights and safety of others.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain transaction and audit history, meet legal or accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and protect platform security. Retention periods vary by the type of information and the reason it is processed.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of certain personal information, or to object to particular uses. Some information may need to be retained where required by law or necessary for security, fraud prevention, or transaction records.
